EON's 007
Eon Productions/ Danjaq, LLC, is owned by the Broccoli family and has produced twenty two James Bond films since 1962, including QUANTUM OF SOLACE. The James Bond films, produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, make up the longest running franchise in film history and include the recent blockbuster films GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, Die Another Day and Casino Royale. EON Productions and Danjaq LLC, are affiliate companies and control all worldwide merchandising of the James Bond franchise.
Since Ian Fleming's sixth James Bond book, Dr No, was filmed by legendary producer Cubby Broccoli, James Bond on screen has become a world-recognised figure. The trademarks of the series, from the gadgets to the music to the immortal line 'Bond... James Bond', have been present since this first film and, we hope will continue long into the future. 2009 marked the 100th year since Cubby Broccoli's birth, and his extraordinary contribution to film was recognised by the British Film Institute, which ran a Broccoli season entitled 'Bond and Beyond'.
