Cover Renewed: For Special Services

John Gardner’s second Bond novel, FOR SPECIAL SERVICES, has been given an explosive new cover design.

First published in 1982, the novel features the unex-SPECTREd – sorry, unexpected – return of one of Bond’s deadliest enemies, and introduces CIA agent Cedar Leiter, daughter of Bond’s old friend Felix.

The dramatic new jacket design, inspired by the events that kick off this particular adventure, will be published by Orion on 12 November this year.

Watch this space for a new-look LICENCE RENEWED, Gardner’s first Bond book, which celebrates its 40th anniversary next year. . .
