Merry Christmas from Ian Fleming Publications

As we look back across a very busy and productive year, we want to thank all the fans of Ian Fleming and James Bond for supporting our publications and sending us such positivity and good will.

A particular highlight of 2017 was the publication of the Vintage hardback editions of Casino Royale, Live and Let Die and Goldfinger, released in November. You will see that our Christmas card this year has been adapted from the beautiful cover design of  Casino Royale created by Brisk Graphics. Many thanks to Levente Szabó for his wonderful work on the series, his adaptation of the artwork and for contributing to our Christmas donation to BRACE, a charity that raises funds and supports dementia research.

May saw Penguin Random House’s publication of Steve Cole’s Red Nemisis, the last of the current Young Bond adventures.  We thank both Steve and his predecessor, Charlie Higson, for being such excellent champions of Bond’s school days.

The comic books of James Bond published by Dynamite Entertainment, have gone from strength to strength and have seen 007 get into all sorts of trouble.  Next year we’re particularly looking forward to the graphic novel adaptation of Casino Royale by Van Jensen, with artwork from Dennis Calero and a whole new series following Bond’s War years.

With new editions of Moonraker and Goldfinger from the Folio Society illustrated by the exceptionally talented Fay Dalton, a Macmillan Classics edition of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, various new translation editions such as a Manx edition of Casino Royale, and re-mastered Express comic strips from Titan, 2017 has certainly been a busy and rewarding year.

And 2018 can’t come soon enough for us as we’ll be unwrapping Anthony Horowitz’s new James Bond novel… watch this space!
