Penfold x Ian Fleming

‘Goldfinger looked keenly at Bond. “Strict Rules of Golf?” “Naturally”.’

Goldfinger (1959)

Ian Fleming was a keen golfer. Indeed, he loved the game so much, he simply couldn’t resist including it in his novels – be it as a vehicle for diamond smuggling, or as a way to pit Bond against a villain.

Perhaps one of the most famous fictional games of golf takes place within the pages of Fleming’s Goldfinger, a book for which today marks 65 years since its first publication. To celebrate this anniversary, as well as Fleming’s love for the sport, we’ve partnered with Penfold the iconic British golfing brand, to produce two products that speak to Fleming’s history with the game.

The Ian Fleming Golf Journal is handbound and made in Stamford, England. Keep track of your golf rounds and stats, and write your own story on the lined pages, inspired by Ian Fleming’s own adventures.

Find the journal on the Penfold site here.

The Ian Fleming Writers Pouch takes inspiration from his writing adventures, and the luxury fabrics he favoured. A multi-use pouch for your writing or golf accessories.

Find the pouch on the Penfold site here.

We hope that you’ll enjoy these items – whether you use them at your desk, or out on the course!
